Be Nice to Yourself

Do you deteriorate your mind with brutal self-critical thoughts like, “I’m such a bad person” – “I’m not smart/cool/attractive enough” – “I’ll never lose this extra weight” – “I’ll never be a success” – “I can’t do… (insert a dream or goal here)” – etc., etc., etc.?1373446731151370

Right now, will you stop making the choice to put yourself down or beat yourself up? Instead, make the choice to give yourself some love and acceptance. It really is a very simple concept, and the effects of choosing to do the latter can be life-changing if you commit to it.

So please… accept the way you are and who you are at this very moment, and if that’s a struggle, at least be happy that right now you’re either thinking about taking the steps or actually are taking the steps to be nice to yourself.

The most important thing you can choose to do is to refuse to fall into the trap of being mean to yourself! You’re so much better than you think you are, and hopefully this will serve as a reminder of that fact.
